I just got one during the Ump Attire sale and I did not find it comfortable. The helmet with a F3 mask (version 1) is very heavy. I wear a 7 3/8 fitted hat and the large is quite snug. The weight is the deal breaker for me. I guess I could try a lighter mask but snugness would probably bother me as the game wore on. I like the safety I might get but not this combo.

If you have the Force3 traditional mask, this skull cap is a must. The traditional mask does not cover the top of your head well, so get this cap for extra head protection.

I wear a 7 3/8 hat. I bought the L. It is pretty snug, but not quite uncomfortable. I have gotten to do 1 tournament this winter with it. I felt much more confident with this on, even as balls ricocheted off our dome and back wall and flew right by me. My mask, once adjusted, comes off just as easily. I think everything else I will get used to. I think this a great asset!
