They are definitely helpful for when getting hit. I do think they could wrap around more on both outside and inside of the thigh but I do like that it comes up high enough. Wish they would make some short version since the women’s have been discontinued. Overall great product.

Comfortable, nice fit. And the pads work when the ball hits the pad. But the the thigh pad needs to wrap around further around more toward the back on the inside of the thigh. 1st game I wore the tights, I got hit on my inside thigh, and it just missed the pad. These cost too much to not complete the needed coverage.

These protect well. I’ve worn them for about 20 games behind the plate and the crotch area is worn out and holes forming on both ends. I think the combo of the jockstrap and cup under these is causing friction and wore these out so fast. Love the idea and the protection but with how fast I went through these and the price, makes it difficult for me to buy another pair.
