Official Review: All-Star Cobalt Umpire Skull Cap - Regular Matte
The All-Star Cobalt Skull Cap is the first hard-shell skull cap designed specifically for baseball umpires—developed in collaboration with Major and Minor League Baseball. This updated model features a smooth matte finish, replacing the previous sand-matte texture, for a sleeker, more professional look that pairs seamlessly with today’s umpire masks and harness systems.

The measurements are true. The reason that it is from 7 to 7 1/8 is because there is a foam padding that contours to your head. I have not used this helmet yet, but I truly look forward to it fits very comfortably on your head.
Questions About This Product
| Q: | My biggest concern about this is the size. I usually get a 7 1/8 and stretch it (I actually have a hat stretcher). A 7 1/4 is too big and tends to come off when I remove my mask. A stretched 7 1/8 works perfectly. So it looks like the 7 - 7 1/8 will be too tight as it’s unstretchable and the 7 1/4 will be too loose? – Mike Melkonian |
| A: | It appears you fall somewhere between the L and the M size. With Free Returns, it's advantageous to order both sizes, use the Free Shipping* offer, and return the size that doesn't fit quite right. – Hunter FrySupplier Relationship Manager, Customer Service Specialist, Former Basketball Referee |
