All-Star Delta Flex Umpire Mask Replacement Harness

I love this harness. I have two All-Star masks that I wear over a Cobalt and these make a difference! I have had two of them for three seasons with no issues. This one was purchased after I gave one of mine to a buddy that just went to a Cobalt and the regular harness didn't work. I have a local crew of 11 and there are now 5 of us using this harness.

We purchased 3 of these at the beginning of the season. Sadly not one of them lasted until the end of the baseball season. The stitching split first and then the thin neoprene began ripping in several different places. These are not even repairable. Absolutely not worth the $.

Honestly, the gentleman is right about the neoprene being thin and stitching not heavy duty on this umpire mask harness. What disappointed me was that I did NOT receive the new version--which is why I ordered this in the first place. I now have the Cobalt cap--which is , for $70, a little tough to deal with. Certainly feel safer--but the extra 2-3 seconds of adjustment after each mask off play gets a little old at the end of the game.

Works very well with my All-Star Cobalt helmet. Very comfortable and easy set up. Highly recommend!

I originally wanted this when I ordered the All-Star Umpire Skull Cap, but they were out of stock. I worked for the end of last years High School season and the fall seasons here in Arizona. When I placed an order this year, I got one. This strap is nowhere near as heavy as the original Wilson strap but that is both good and bad. Good in that it makes my mask much lighter, and it fits the skull cap better. Bad in that I can see it falling apart long before the original. Still, if you have the skull cap, this is the strap to have even with its issues.

For the price point, one would expect the stitching to be stronger and the neoprene to be thicker, but it's NOT. Had mine for less than one season and the stitching around the edges of the neoprene have come undone. I have had to burn the ends to keep it from coming off all together. The neoprene is thin and will come apart and deteriorate rapidly. I do like the concept, I even ordered a spare. Fix these and you have a 5 star product worthy of your price!

Great product in conjunction with the All-Star Skull cap. It fits better and grips the cap better than traditional harnesses.

Excited about using this new harness in games this spring. I really like how the neoprene grips the skull cap better than a standard strap. I really think there should be a consideration of re-engineering the top Velcro strap. It is especially difficult with the other Velcro on the mask especially when you need to wrap the vertical mask bar on the Mag masks (as shown in the Crew How-To video).

Great to have when you wear the skull cap.

I really like the harness. It is as advertised, lightweight and makes the mask more snug. Arrived sooner than expected. Thanks Ump-Attire.com. I will give 5 star after several games. The Velcro is easier and looks better than the standard strap.
