All-Star Cobalt Umpire Shin Guards

"You won't feel like you're wearing shin guards at all" is probably the most honest part of the description. These shin guard are very light weight and very easy to wear. They do sacrifice protection for them being this light weight. I have owned them for a full college and H.S. season & taken a half dozen shots. Hits to the direct front are felt but not too bad. The sides of the guards offer almost no protection and hits to the side are very painful.

Very lightweight and comfortable fit. I love all my Cobalt products - Mask (Mag), Helmet, Chest Protector and now Shin Guards.

They fit really well. Especially when used with the straps from UMPLIFE. But the protection could be better. You can feel easy hits.

I am very happy with these umpire shin guards. I have worn them in several game and they are very comfortable and light weight. Have taken a few hits off of them and feel nothing unlike my old set. They are flexible and give you plenty of coverage on the sides. I would highly recommend these to everyone. The price I thought was very good.

I didn’t like the way the straps fit behind the knees. I loved the look, feel and weight but the straps were too uncomfortable.

Light and minimalist leg guard. They don't wrap around leg and there isn't much ankle coverage. Had to use extra padding in knee cap and shin and still felt shots.

All-Star Cobalt umpire shin guards feel and look amazing. Took a shot off the shin, heard the noise but didn't feel a thing. I wear a slim fit Plus-POS set of shin guards that were painful most of the time now they are buried in the shed. I usually wear a size 17 but went with the 19 instead, no a problem. When the 17 inch guards are back in stock I will purchase those also. These are slim and wrap around the calf for extra protection. Excellent product. Thanks Ump-Attire.com.

Extremely lightweight and easy to move in. However, I’ve taken multiple shots this season with them, and the protection is lacking.

These feel great to wear and are definitely slim. They are not the most protective guards though. I have taken two hard shots directly off the shin and knee that not only did I feel but left bruises.
