Joe C. Sonora, CA |
Pants are perfect. Fit well and have the expander waistline if one gains a few pounds. Beautiful dark grey.
|
Larry H. Sidney, OH |
I sent them back. The are promoted as "being cooler". In Central Ohio, our season is cool to cold, so I don't need cooler, I need warmer.
|
Hunter D. Canton, NY |
Pants fit well and last for a long period of time.
|
Chad G. Mililani Town, HI |
I like these pants. Hang well, breathes. They are cut a little slimmer in the waist than the plate version. I went up a size to get the same fit.
|
Marwin K. Ridderkerk, ZH |
Good and relaxed fit. Feels great.
|
Michael P. Acworth, GA |
Great fit and comfortable out of the box. Excellent product. A lot of room and support where required.

Kenny C. Chesterfield, VA |
Best pants on the market. You can't go wrong with the Smitty pants. They don't show the dirt like the old pants Between games, just wipe the dirt off and you are ready to go for your next game. And the fit is awesome with an expanded waist.

Ron M. Slidell, LA |
Poly spandex is the way to go for your umpire pants. Comfortable to wear, even on the hottest of days.
|
Nathan B. Huxley, IA |
The Smitty base pants are great for umpires who want comfort and a clean look. They’re made from a stretchy, durable material that’s easy to move in during games. The expander waistband makes them really comfortable, especially on hot days when things can get tight. The charcoal grey color looks sharp and matches well with any shirt. The flat front style gives them a nice, professional look too. They’ve held up well after a lot of use and washing. If you’re working the bases and want pants that feel good and look good, these are definitely a smart pick.

Keith E. Richfield, MN |
These pants are lightweight and comfortable, even on blistering, hot days.
|
Gabrielle P. West Danville, VT |
I like how lightweight these pants are. I wish I went with the tapered leg, I find on my frame the base pant is still a little to large on me. As a female, I don't fit in women's pants and wish these were a little more tailored in the leg.

Matt M. Mead, WA |

Steven H. Paris, TX |

Pants had a hole in left knee which I patched from inside. Noticed after hemmed.

Very trustworthy pair of pants to use. The expanding waist line makes it more comfortable and easy to move around in.
|
Morris M. Pikeville, KY |
Love the expandable waistband. Once I got them hemmed, they were perfect.
|
Juan V. La Victoria De Acentejo, Spain |
Comfortable and high quality.
|
Kyle G. Groton, SD |
These pants are great! They are light weight and flexible. The added bonus is they have enough room for shin guards and keep you cool during those hot days. The stretch waistband is a nice feature but gets to be a bit bulky for me. Minor detail in the grand scheme of things. Would definitely recommend to any umpire.

Gino S. Kirkland, WA |
Great pants. Lightweight and comfortable, slightly stretchy. Good for hot days.
|
Scott S. Kenosha, WI |
Good feel and fit. Great price and fast shipping!
|
Chris H. Seattle, WA |
The pants are comfortable and keep you cool, but just heads up...they attract EVERY piece of hair, lint, and anything else within a 5 mile radius. EVERYTHING sticks to them, so use your garment bags and get a lint roller or duct tape!
|
Chris G. Marion, NC |
These pants are so comfortable! Much cooler and look way better than the thick and pleated front pants. I plan to purchase two more pair during this season.
|
Rick A. Charles Town, WV |
These pants are great on hot days but the color only last about 2 seasons.
|
Garret J. Rancho Santa Margarita, CA |
High-quality pants. With many MLB umpires now wearing the flat front plant, I decided to give them a try. They look great and have a terrific fit. The material, color and crease make this a no-brainer. If you want to look like a professional, dress like one.
|
Gary B. Southaven, MS |
Love the material and how they are made. I'm disappointed that the base pants I ordered look more like a combo pant. This is not the look I want or see watching college or MLB games.
|
Mike M. Greenfield, IN |
These pants are lightweight and comfortable. High quality and durable.
|
Rick S. Cape Coral, FL |
These pants are great quality, breathable, lightweight and dirt resistant. They don't fade as other pant manufacturers have in the past. Only dislike is the high maintenance on keeping the pants wrinkle-free. Excellent prompt delivery service from Ump Attire.

The Smitty 4-Way Stretch Base Umpire Pants with expander waistband are the BEST umpire pants on the market. They are worth every penny. The flat front style gives a sleek & clean look while working on the bases; the material is great, especially on those warmer days. The expander waistband allows that extra room for the colder days when it's necessary to wear a jacket and you want it tucked in for that professional look. I would recommend these pants to umpires of all levels. DEFINITELY MUST BUY/HAVE!!

Christopher S. Churchville, VA |
Bought these for the Babe Ruth World Series in Florida. They fit great and were very comfortable on the field. Very light and breathable. I will be buying more.

Definitely the best umpire pants available. Very comfortable and high quality.
|
Jeff Wright Greenbrier, TN |
Love the new flat-front pants! They are slightly narrower in the legs than the pleated pants for a cleaner look.
|
Raymond B. Berlin, NH |
They look great. Wish they would offer needed lengths. Prompt delivery.
|
Charles P. Greenville, KY |
These are the most comfortable pants I’ve owned. They tend to be roomy in the legs, but overall, they are comfortable and they are durable.

|
Chris K. Lafayette, CA |
Love the quality and fit. Lightweight and breathable. The flexible waistband is always the way to go. Won't fade like those heather greys always do.
|
Ben Yorba Linda, CA |
I really like the fit and quality of these pants.
|
Stephen Maryland |
Lightweight and breathable, just what you want in umpire pants. The flexible waistband is always a great option, and in this case it was worth the few extra dollars. Great umpire pants overall.
|
Jeremy H. Ohio |
Comfortable good look material. Helps keep cool on the field the cut is little high waisted for someone built like me 5'9" 220 but that is the cut of these pant other that got to say great pants and quality.
|
Mike B. Madisonville, KY |
Very comfortable and durable pants. They hold up to wear I put them though. Great addition to my baseball/softball wardrobe. Plan on purchasing more of these very soon.
|
Ed O. Whitman, MA |
Only pants I use for the past several seasons regardless of game day/time temperature! I expect nothing less of this new addtion to the rotation!
|
Andrew S. South Whitley, IN |
Pants are truly amazing! Wish we could wear these in our local high school season. They up hold dirt a lot better than navy and are more comfortable than the navy pants. The flexible waist band help with odd size waist, and gives you the extra inch or so of room. Would recommend them to every umpire!

Frank P. Philadelphia, PA |
The Smitty Performance Poly Spandex Umpire pants are without a doubt the best umpire pants I have bought. To begin with the price for them is less than other outlets are charging. I have never been a fan of pleated pants so I am glad that they are flat front. I normally have to size up with other pants however since these stretch with the poly-spandex material I am able to wear a 44 without the expansion waist. Ump-Attire.com always has what umpires are looking for at the right price & they stand behind all there products with great customer service.
