Umpire plate pants are made to accommodate umpire shin guards. They feature a sewn-in saddle seat reinforcement with or without an expanding waistband. Made from Poly Spandex or Polyester in Charcoal Grey or Heather Grey (Medium Grey).

Great umpire pant! In the past, I was hesitant to purchase them because I didn’t like the color or feel of the material in comparison to the standard material of my previous pants. Upon receiving them, I tried them on and wow, was I surprised. The material was actually sturdier than I thought, slips easier over my shin guards and appears to wash and dry easier maintaining that pressed and polished finish for that “professional“ look. I definitely recommend these pants and will purchase replacements as time on the field goes by.

Always love the Smitty pants but decided to size down and utilize the expander waist band. Looking forward to having a nice look on the bases and can’t wait to wear these too during the college season.

One word so say, the best pants ever. Like the others pants of this they feel great and light, got a lot of room for shin guards and the expendable waist is definitely a plus.
