Bought this one as backup to same mask purchased a few years ago. Can’t beat the DynaLite for affordability, quality, weight, and the classic look.

Comfortable fit. Good view. I am very happy with the purchase of this mask.
Neal C. Stayton, OR |
Great mask. Far lighter than expected and the memory foam pads are extremely comfortable. Took two fouls off the face mask the first day wearing it and I barley felt it. A little more expensive than some but well worth it.

Super comfortable and lightweight. Very happy with the purchase.
Michael B. Rolla, MO |
SUPER comfortable, and worth every penny for how light weight it is!!! Highly recommend!
Jeremy H. Utica, OH |
Great fitting mask. I switched from another brand and this fits me much better. I have a better view of the strike zone. For me, less head tilt makes the mask even safer for me. I know not all will agree with that but, it works for me. Add the oversized Wilson pad to this mask and it is the most comfortable, best-fitting mask that I have ever used in all my years of catching baseball, men's fastpitch and not umpiring. I like it so much that I bought a second one and a set of pads just in case.

Great mask, lightweight and great visibility!

Love this mask. If you can afford a little extra it's well worth its weight in gold. I've taken foul balls off every part of this mask with no issues or after affects...that I know of lol

This mask is very lightweight and is super comfortable to wear.
Tyler B. Clarksville, TN |
Awesome umpire mask!! It’s light and comfortable. Definitely have to get used to the memory foam as I have always used leather. But I’d definitely buy again!!
Lou C. Aldan, PA |
Light, but have to get used to memory foam pads. Overall a nice umpire mask.

Great mask. Love it.
Larry H. Warren, Ohio |
Love the light weight frame after thorough research, In my opinion this is the best mask available taking price, material, and weight into account. My only negative would be that I didn’t trust the memory foam pads so I chose to upgrade them. Other then that I’ve had it now for 15-20 games and it’s been great.

In the immortal words of Ned Flanders, this mask is "like wearing nothing at all" thanks to its lightweight aluminum construction and memory foam padding. I upgraded to this mask from a boat anchor with pleather wrapped padding that was a blend of pocket lint and rusty nickels and the difference in quality and performance is incredible. All my neck and nose pain (from my glasses being driven into my nose with more force than a stake through a vampire's heart) has gone away. If you're using this mask with a cap instead of a helmet, you'll probably want to trip the harness straps a bit. Pro-Tip: Borrow a lighter from your field's Kelly Leak to seal off the ends to prevent fraying. The MLB patch on the back is a nice touch and gives you something to dream about when baseball moms are yelling at you about the call you made when they really should be yelling at their sons for not sliding into third base.

Great umpire mask. Lite weight and comfortable.
Sam Y. Carrollton, TX |
Great mask!! It’s extremely lightweight compared to my last mask and I love it. Sits closer to my face, which makes it easier to see pitches. Highly recommend this mask.
Alen M. Kitchener, ONTARIO |
The umpire mask is crazy light but a big issue with the padding. It comes down the sides way too far and actually obstructs the view. I'm going to have put my old Wilson pads on, hopefully it doesn't make much heavier.
Thomas S. Porter Ranch, CA |
A definite improvement over my old mask, as the weight difference is noticeable right away. The foam is comfortable and much better with dealing with sweat.
Ron S. North Caldwell, NJ |
Purchased it purely for the weight, which has seemed to alleviate the neck nerve issue I was having from my previous umpire mask. Took one off it the first game I used it and I’m still standing :) I like the look and comfort and apparent protection. Price point is on point!
Gary W. Puyallup, WA |
Outstanding umpire mask for the price point! Got tattooed square in the face and it took it like a champ! Comfortable with my luscious beard, the memory foam is superior in quality.
Jamie S. Candor, NC |
Great light weight umpire mask at a good price.
Ty B. Kentucky |
The weight was my primary reason for buying and it is exactly what it said it was, light weight. It does catch on my cap when taking off sometimes I have had to change that action slightly, but not a big deal. Took two shots off the mask already and they weren’t an issue. Overall I really like this umpire mask.

Decent umpire mask. Nice and light weight and very comfortable. I just had trouble taking it off with the cloth material. It likes to catch on the fabric of my cap.
Matthew M. Indian Trail, NC |
Awesome umpire mask! I have worked tournaments with 6 straight games behind the plate. This umpire mask is lightweight and doesn't hurt your neck when wearing it all day long. I took quite a few foul balls directly to the face and didn't feel a thing! I love this umpire mask.
Joey H. Corsicana, TX |
Works well, good fit.
Grant S. Spokane, WA |
Great product, however if you are working in a colder climate like we get up in Washington and Idaho, it's necessary to swap out the memory foam. The memory foam gets ROCK HARD when it's cold out. The mask itself is light enough to not kill your neck but still makes you feel like there's some protection up there.
Andre M. Avondale, AZ |
Love the all-black look when paired with either the Wilson Memory Foam or Team Wendy Pads and a sun visor. Took a good shot second game in and survived to call another game.
Adam R. Milford, CT |
I have had this umpire mask for one year. Very comfortable, breathable, and looks great! Very strong and I can't feel anything when I get a foul ball straight in the mask!
Greg E. MD |
I have always loved Wilson products and this umpire mask was a good replacement without spending a lot of money. Replaced the Wilson steel mask.
Tony B. Tomball, TX |
Very happy with the product. The description was excellent. Lives up to my expectations.

Great fit and I love how light it is.

Fits perfect and feels great.

Light weight, great matte finish, could be welded better. No real technology over the steel Dyna-Lite, just lighter. Not a fan of the rounded ear guards. This mask's best feature is the padding. These pads are more comfortable and retain their color better than the Team Wendy's.

How often does it happen that a new piece of umpire equipment gets immediately put to the test? I took a hard foul square to the mask during my second inning of use. As light as the mask is, it was business as usual. It cushioned the blow smoothly and left me very satisfied with its integrity. Comfortable and rugged but not a burden if you have several plate assignments in a single day.

I'm very impressed with the mask. It's light weight and very comfortable. I have taken a few foul balls to the mask and did not feel a thing. The protection is amazing. I would recommend this mask for any umpire.

Comfortable.
Kevin P. Fort Wayne, IN |
Very comfortable and lightweight. The padding really helps cushion hits and the sight out of the mask is excellent.
Toby Moore Bellingham, WA |
Really comfortable umpire mask, the pads are really big and thick, so I am still trying to break it in such that it won't pull my hat off when I remove it. That being stated, it is a great mask at a great price that provides solid protection.
Adolph V. El Paso , TX |
Love this umpire mask! I own two.

This is a great mask. For the last 12 years I was rocking a steel mask with doe skin pads and I will never go back. The memory foam is soft and it does help with sweat. The lightweight frame and pads makes it nice for those long innings. Additionally, I took a shot off the mask from a foul ball during a 16U game. The mask was loose as we are taught to wear it; the mask took the hit and deflected the ball. I didn't feel a thing. My fear from going to steel to aluminum was I was going to feel it more. This was not the case, the mask did it's job. I felt some discomfort in my jaw from the hit the next morning, but nothing major. All in all a great mask for a great price.
Craig C. Saco, ME |
I love this mask! I had a black Diamond ultra lightweight that I also loved but it took a beating. I have neck issues so lightweight is key and this mask is very light and gives me a great field of vision. I prefer the memory foam pads as you can remove and wash them. Love it. Now stop raining please!

Have worn this mask now for two months with Team Wendy pads in. The mask is extremely light and can be worn all day for multiple games with no fatigue, but most of the segments of the mask are misaligned when welded and seems slightly lopsided when looking through it; also since the mask is aluminum, I have taken several hard shots that flattened a bar in one place. This mask is nice and light and I don't regret the purchase, but would probably not buy the same one again if needing another one.
Kurt A. Manitou Springs, CO |
Great mask! Light enough for multiple games behind the plate and strong enough to take a direct hit. The padding wicks sweat away. No slippage like leather. Not as hot as suede. This mask is perfect for those who want a light weight mask that works like titanium but still want a heavy wallet. Wilson has made an aluminum mask that prices mid-level and performs top-shelf.

Test drove this mask last night, with Team Wendy tan pads. Like previous reviewer, I do not trust the Wilson memory foam pads that came with. Mask felt great, MUCH lighter than my charcoal grey dyna-lite. Vision was great. I took a shot, sounded different, but no damage, and no pain. Top Tier men's league. Guys can chuck ball. Bit nervous about scratching mask with metal counter, will go back to plastic. So far so good! Umpire buddies jealous! Recommended.

Well, I have worn the mask for 20 innings working showcase ball with PG. She is extremely light and, I must say, small. I feel like if I smile my teeth will hang out the sides! I never felt uncomfortable, just going to take some getting used to I suppose. I put my Wendy pads on as I was not a fan at all of the memory foam that came in the box (just did not seem substantial at all). She sits nice and weighs nothing even with the TW pads. The frame is nice and does not impede vision at all. When she takes her first shot I will come back and update. Until then, the test drive was enjoyable, even if she is a little skinnier than my last. For what it's worth this is my first Dyna-Lite, so maybe this is the usual with the DL family and I am just a rook when it comes to that.

Just bought this mask, have had the chance to use it, and absolutely love it. It is extremely comfortable and light and ranks right behind, by a hair, my Wilson titanium mask. I highly recommend this mask along with the Wilson titanium model.
