Smitty Performance Poly Spandex Charcoal Grey Flat Front Base Umpire Pants

Been wearing the Smitty base and combo pants for a few years. I like the fit and feel of them.

Always good, never disappoints.

Don't buy these unless you are working very warm weather games. They are very light material that clings to your gear. The heavier material pants hang better. Getting the wrinkles out of these has been almost impossible.

These fit so much better than the pleated version size 32.

Excellent pants. Fit more true than the 4-way stretches I would have to order down a size. Ordered on Monday and had them Wednesday for my game.

Love these pants. The base pants are a little snug in the waist, but the plate pants have more room in the waist. I own a pair of expandable waist pants, both plate and base, for the cold season and wear multiple-layer shirts, so these pants will not be so baggy in the warmer times of the season.

These are sharp pants! Just remember, the waist is a little off compared to your jeans sizes. You can fix this by either going up one size or getting the adjustable waist. Other than that, no complaints.

I agree with Brandon, these pants fit well over my belly button. I can't seem to get what I want. These base pants will end up plate pants, that's how wide the pant legs are and how large the crouch area is....very disappointed.

These pants would easily get 5 stars based on the look of them alone. However, I highly recommend finding someone to take in 3-4 inches from the crotch area. Mine looked fantastic after I paid a local business to do so. Of course I had them fitted/measured to be hemmed with my base shoes on and that worked out well. I am not sure if Ump-Attire.com could take these pants in in the crotch or hem the length of the legs, but it's worth the try to reach out to customer service to ask. Several other umpires asked where I got these pants at the two clinics I attended over the last couple weeks. These were certainly the sharpest looking pants on the field.

The new Smitty performance poly spandex charcoal grey flat front umpire pants are the most comfortable & best fitting pants I have. I've tried other brands & I always have to go to a size 48 to fit properly however these stretch & even size 44 fit me comfortably. I've always preferred flat front to pleated pants too. I compared the price on other umpire suppliers & Ump-Attire.com beats them as usual for the most reasonable price!
