Very comfortable on chilly days. Fits great over plate gear. If you really want it to fit correct on days you are in the field, just go one size down.

It feels great and keeps me from getting cold when I am working on the bases. Only thing is I wish I ordered a size bigger so I can more comfortably wear it behind the plate.

This is a perfect umpire jacket for spring/fall ball. Not too heavy, but keeps warm in the wind/rain. Can wear for plate or base.

Very nice - good quality, and warm! Almost too warm - which is the only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. It doesn't breath very well and I was wearing it behind the plate on a 50* day and had to take it off mid-game.

I'm 5'8" and 185 lbs with athletic build. Shirt size 16 neck and 44 chest, 34 waist. I ordered the XL and it was way too big. I returned and got the L. The L is perfect plenty of room for chest protector, semi tight on the waist band, loose enough in arms to move any direction I need. Jacket is very warm on a 45 degree 15 mph wind day.

I like the Smitty umpire jackets because they are very well made and are not too hot for the weather and they give you plenty of room for your equipment under them and they are long enough to stay down when you get behind the plate.

This umpire jacket fits perfectly. It's very professional looking and is perfect for the bases. Order a size bigger for the plate.

Good for colder days, water resistance is also nice. Only thing to note is that you should order whatever size your shirt is, since they do run a bit big.

This is a great product. Fits well and keeps you warm for sure. The only draw back so you don't have to buy multiple jackets is that it doesn't have the pocket on the chest for your line up cards. So if you plan on wearing a jacket behind the plate, then I suggest the open bottom style of this jacket. Other than that one small issue. I love my umpire jacket.

Umpire jacket fits well. A plastic lining makes the jacket very warm, too warm for me. I may use it on very cold days but cool days with a slight breeze the jacket makes me perspire too much.

It's a great jacket. The elastic at the bottom of the jacket makes it look like it's tucked in. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't breath as much as I would have hoped.

I am normally a Large for shirt sizes but I found this product runs small, about 1/2 size small. I ordered the large size and the sleeves were a couple inches short and fitted somewhat snug across the chest. Sent it back and got the XL and it fitted perfectly and also fit over my chest protecter easily, which is the Diamond iX3. It blocks all wind and cold and does keep you warm and is very comfortable.
