Official Reviews
Tony F. Jim Thorpe, PA |
Very good product. Good fit with the belt loops.
Stan Y. Red Lion, PA |
Fits nice. Well made.
Yumiel N. Montréal, QC |
Incredible. Pockets are made just like I wanted. Lot of space for balls and looks very sharp.
James S. West Hamlin, WV |
This ball bag is made of very durable material and is a great product all around. The inside pockets are perfect for lineup book and brush.
Nicolas G. Fayetteville , GA |
I bought these to replace some old cliff keen ball bags. I like them a lot. Nice large belt loops for my 1 3/4" patent belt. Nice deep pockets inside. Best part is they stay open with balls inside for easily putting balls back into play. No more accidentally putting finger in the inside pockets when getting balls out. Get them!
Ryan G. Mobile, AL |
Great ball bag. Holds plenty of baseballs although inner pockets are a little tight so I can’t keep my plate brush in it.
Edward T. Lago Vista, TX |
I like that I can handle 4 balls in a pouch. I lose my brush and clicker in the deep inner pockets though.
Michael L. Dalzell, SC |
Good umpire ball bag. Can not go wrong purchasing these!
Kyle H. Fort Collins, CO |
Between the Dry-lo's and these, I like these ones better after I stitched the deep inner pockets up a bit. :)
Keith A. Dunkirk , NY |
Good quality Ball Bag. I’ve had no problem with holding 3-4 balls at a time.
Steve S. West Fargo, ND |
Great, quality bag for 1-3 baseballs. Anything above that is too bulky. Also, stretching the bag out from your hips outward is a little tight to my liking. I'd recommend checking out this bag in the XL size instead, especially if you will be holding a brush, wallet, lineup cards, keys, etc. I find it somewhat annoying trying to pull things out of the bag sometimes.
Connor T. Beacon, NY |
The quality of the material is good. But the functionality, not so much. They say it can hold 5 baseballs comfortably, but mine feels awkward just with 4. And it’s very difficult to get things out of the inside pockets. I often have to use two hands to get the plate brush or indicator out. I suppose this bag would be fine for games where I wear two bags, and this was my second one (and would, therefore, just hold 2-3 baseballs and nothing else). But for games where I just wear one bag, I would never choose this one.
Stephen Indiana |
Good solid umpire ball bag.
Steve S. Ashburn, VA |
Good size and fit.
John V. Sanford, MI |
Perfect for softball. Just what I needed. I can't wait to get started using them.
Josh M. Dallas, GA |
Not my favorite bag, but it gets the job done. The inner pockets are very deep and narrow, but very hard to get the indicator or brush out of. If used as a second bag, it's not bad. It serves that purpose well, but to use as a single bag for balls, brush and indicator, it's not my favorite.
Brian H. Mexia, TX |
Good ball bag for the price. Holds 3-4 baseballs or 2 softballs without any problem. Inside pockets work well for holding your plate brush. Very durable.
Paul S. Belmont, MS |
Good size and value.
Dan D. Troy, MO |
This umpire ball bag fits well on a belt. Holds baseballs comfortably and still room to get to indicator and note pad. I bought these two new ones to replace my old ones for tournaments.
Brian H. Endicott, NY |
Nice bag. Just got to stretch a little for ease of softball access. Nice pockets inside.
Mikey K. Maryville, TN |
Great bag with a fantastic professional image!
Randy T. Belleview, FL |
This umpire ball bag fits well on belt. Holds baseballs comfortably and still room to get to indicator and note pad. Will be buying more for tournaments.
Luke M. Indiana |
Love Smitty products, but this one misses the mark. Unfortunately, my plate brush keeps falling to the bottom of the pocket and requires two hands to pull out. The indicator slot, on the other hand, is a bit too tight in that the indicator barely slides in at all. The material of the bag is great and holds enough baseballs/softballs as advertised, but not strong in the accessory category.
Randy W. Fresno, CA |
Had an old one that was donated. Looking forward to having one with pockets to keep things separate. Easier to find.
Kyle H. Fairfield, IA |
The Smitty ball bags are great. They are simple and provide extra pockets for your "clicker" and sweeper. I usually wear two, one of each hip, and each bag provided me the ability to hold 3 balls on each side, if needed.
Christopher R. Sunderland, MD |
Classic ball bag that’s easy to keep clean and fresh. My previous ball bag was not washable and often dirty and crusty from sweat. With the cloth Smitty ball bag, it’s always easy to maintain a professional appearance and not have a dirty ball bag.
Hoss M. Eutaw, AL |
Great ball bags at a great price!!
Jay D Kansas City |
Good size with good pockets for plate brush and book.
Dan H. Los Angeles, CA |
Good size but the pocket for the plate brush is too small for my plate brush. I love the ball bags that can hold extra baseballs and my umpire folder.
Ronald C. Oceanside, CA |
Good size bag for someone that wears two. Easy access to tools and balls.
Rick M. Winter Haven, FL |
Good large sized ball bag. Two large pockets for book and brush, small for pen. Holds 5 baseballs easily. If you wear two bags, you have plenty of storage for game and personal items.
Derik R. Hudsonville, MI |
Best set I’ve purchased, always reliable!
Justin H. Nevada, MO |
Great for softball. I can hold 3 in here and I’m sure even more baseballs.
Alex J. Chicago, IL |
Looks great and gets the job done! Has a pocket for your brush and can easily fit 5 balls.
Bryan C. Walbridge, OH |
Love the look of the charcoal grey, easy fit on my belt. The bag has great space and fits just the right amount of balls.
Kory V. Colorado |
These umpire ball bags are great, look good, and made well. The only issue I have with them is the inside pockets are a bit deep for me, but that’s a minor thing, not worth dropping my rating on them. This is my 3rd set.
Kip H. Tremonton, UT |
Looks sharp and fits well. Good quality!
Theron S. Wichita, KS |
Love the look of the black cloth umpire ball bags. Seems to be quality made.
Gary B. Livingston, MT |
First time I've bought Smitty ball bags. They're well built.
J.w. M. Hutchinson, KS |
Good quality.
James L. Augusta, GA |
Nice ball bag.
Matt B. Newnan, GA |
This is the first time I’ve ordered Smitty ball bags. I love the size and capacity. The inside compartments are nice too. Highly recommend.
Gary M. West Bend, WI |
Love the bag. I am ordering more for my organization.
Janet T. Woodstock, GA |
This is the first time I've bought these ball bags and I like them. They're the perfect size and the material is great.
Stephen L. Maine |
Bought 2 of these umpire ball bags. Works great, not too big. Inside pockets are a good size for brush and an extra indicator if needed.
Hunter M. Lenexa, KS |
Great material! Spacious and gets the job done well!
Michael H. West Lafayette, IN |
Nice quality bag and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for everybody! It is a nice material that is used and very well constructed.
Joe H. Dallastown, PA |
Excellent size for maximum use.
Joseph J. Sparks, NV |
Good quality bags. Good for High School softball and baseball.
Joseph Y. Camarillo, CA |
Bags are made well. Good product.
Juan G. Brownsville, TX |
Great quality and great price.
Keith W. Columbus, OH |
When you need a ball bag for those summer games where you don't have to carry your line up card and you don't get 5 baseballs, then this is the bag for you. Smitty products hold up well and last a long time. They retain their color and match the umpire pants if you wear gray at any time. If they give you a lot of baseballs at your games, then I'd recommend an upgrade to the expandable Smitty bag. For me, I'm lucky to have 3 good baseballs for most games in my area, so this is a great product for those games.
Chris E. Davenport, IA |
I like these bags as they are my go-to for all games. Simple and functional. Inside pockets for a few other items I need to carry but not be seen or held in my pockets.
Doug P. Chandler, AZ |
Solid, functional, and really help me to keep organized on the field. The quality is great and they are sturdy and really hold up. I umpire softball and can keep a total of three softballs, indicator, coin, brush, and lineup card holder easily.
Andrew Texas |
Awesome.
Cliff C. Wyoming |
I liked the quality of these umpire ball bags. The pockets are a little too deep for my plate brush.
Richard G. Pascagoula, MS |
You may wonder why would someone rate umpire ball bags. If you try some of the types and styles of ball bags on the market these days then you will understand. Buy the best...forget the rest.
James H. , Florida |
Great ball bag with a lot of room.
Joseph A. St. Louis, MO |
Really nice cloth ball bags. I enjoy the high quality of them along with the two pockets on the inside to hold a plate brush, indicator, or whatever else you need to hold. The only thing is the pockets are deeper than most ball bags I have used so it's a little difficult to get your plate brush out of and indicator when you get it, but it gets better after you get used to the ball bags.
Richard B. Cleveland, TN |
Great ball bag for the price. Kept 2 softballs in each and had no problems getting to my brush or lineup folder. If you want a durable and inexpensive ball bag, this is it.
Ronnie M. Gwynn Oak, MD |
These umpire ball bags look good, holds all my plate equipment and 6 balls if needed.
Greg P. Gilbert, AZ |
This is the go-to umpire ball bag. It looks sharp and keeps it's color longer than any other bag. I never even think about using another bag.
Brad A. Keizer, OR |
It looks sharp and functions exactly as it is supposed to. It's sizable enough to hold the number of balls I need during any youth game.
Kris C. Niagara Falls , NY |
Very nice ball bag! Well made and the cloth is soft. Holds plenty of game balls, plus space for extra gear.
Mark K. , Anaheim |
Fast shipping and the ball bag works great.
Cesar C. Los Angeles, CA |
Didn't realize I needed a replacement until my new ball bag came in. I order pants and I'm glad I order the bag too. Colors match very well (charcoal).
John B. Centralia, WA |
Nice Color and feel. Good size small pockets for pencil and book.
Angel M. , |
Fits plenty of baseballs and looks sharp. Highly recommend.
Brock L. El Centro, CA |
I've had so many compliments on how clean and sleek these umpire bags are. I use them in a 2 bag configuration, much more room for those extra balls and other equipment if needed! My dad has used them for years and I finally upgraded mine to these. They'll last quite some time!
Michael M. Huntington Beach, CA |
Overall a good bag. Balls fit nicely and stay put. However I wish it was a little bit larger.
Robert B. California City, CA |
Bags are great. Lightweight, plenty of room.. A color for every game.
Brady B. MN |
The charcoal bags are not an exact match to the poly spandex pants. Up to the individual umpire on what they'd want, but I didn't like the almost matches concept.
Ian L. San Diego, CA |
This umpire ball bag is great. It's made of super soft and light material and compared to my other bag that is a little more stiff, you don't even notice you're wearing this one even when you have 3 or 4 balls in it. I recommend it!
Andrew C. Broadway, NC |
Good quality bag! I love the inside pockets to hold my brush, indicator and ink pen. Easily holds 6 baseballs, perfect for 12U and under! May want a deeper bag for older, as I did 14U and kept running out of balls. Highly recommended!
Bruce R. Hays, KS |
These bags are my favorite. The cloth makes them very professional looking. They are plenty large enough for the softballs and the inside compartments allow me to keep everything in place.
Brandon D. Woodworth, LA |
No reason to reinvent the wheel. These ball bags are reliable, and look great. One for me, one for the field. That's how I do it, anyway.
Jacob P. Dallas, TX |
Great quality ball bag, just wish the pockets were shallower.
Jeff & Susan T. Albany, OR |
Deep pockets and easy to carry extra balls and stuff.
Lisa M. Central Village, CT |
What can you say about baseball bags! They do what they are supposed to do. They clean up nicely, the have deep pockets...above all, great price!!!
Mike D. Covington, LA |
Great ball bag, deep enough to carry 4 baseballs, brush, indicator, and watch.
Alejandro P. Miami, FL |
Dark grey look great with pants, good price.
Dean B. Glendale, AZ |
Great ball bags. Very durable. Sun resistant, clean up easily. Too bad they make you get them altered to use the pockets. You cannot reach your brush or indicator without having the pockets sewn. They're just too deep.
Bill H. Springfield , IL |
Awesome ball bags! Matches my Creme umpire shirt.
Connor S. South Dakota |
These ball bags have a lot of positives, and only one negative so far. The length, color and size are all great. The one drawback to these are that the interior pockets go all the way to the bottom of the ball bag, making them impractical for holding anything. I cannot get my hands in the pocket to easily grab my indicator, book, or gum. I had the pockets sewn about halfway down, and that fixed the problem!
Ian H. SPRINGDALE, AR |
Love these ball bags. I keep going back to them! So far, I have not experienced any issues with the stitching.
Matthew J. South Boston, VA |
Just like some reviews, I do wish the inside pockets were a bit easier to get to but they hold my plate brush just fine. I keep my indicator in my pants pocket or hand with them on usually. The charcoal grey match my Smitty charcoal grey combo pants perfectly and look sharp when I'm wearing blues or red.
Jake W. Baton Rouge |
These are perfect bags. Fit on all brand of pants perfectly.
Jimmy D. Morris Chapel, TN |
Bags are good seem to made with great material. Hold up really good.
Brian F. Missouri |
Do not like the fact that I cannot retrieve my indicator or my plate brush easily. The indicator falls deep in the pocket and the brush is stuck on the sides.
Peter C. Albuquerque, NM |
I've had these ball bags for a few years and they're still black and they've been out in the sun a lot. When they're not on my side, they're on a clip hangar face to face with pockets together. This way, even if sun is coming into the vehicle, only the backside would be affected with any fading, but not even the back side has started to fade and I'm very happy with these bags. They hold my water bottle and 5 baseballs in each bag. Love'em.
Tim S. Port Allen, LA |
Inside pockets are too deep to reach the needed items such as your brush and indicator. They need to shorten the pockets to the same size as their XL, moisture resistant bags.
Jarrod C. Aiken, SC |
Inside pockets are a little too deep. Other than that, it is a good product.
Larry G. Sacramento , CA |
Perfect size with right amount of pockets to hold what I need.
Matthew M. Newmanstown, PA |
These ball bags do the job every time!
Jose P. Woodbridge, VA |
I bought the black Smitty ball bag. It was large and can hold 3 softballs easily. The downside is the two pockets are so deep. It's ok for your clipboard but your brush goes to the bottom and sometimes I had a hard time digging it out during the game. I went to putting my brush in my back pocket. Other than that it seems to be a nice quality.
David S. Anthem, AZ |
Love this umpire ball bag. Not too large and the pockets inside fit my plate brush and indicator well. Definitely buying this ball bag again when the need arises.
Addam G. Virginia Beach, VA |
Great ball bags. Very happy with the look and functionality.
Austin J. Keller, TX |
If you're looking for a quality umpire bag that's more than spacious for all your odds and ends, you've found the right product. Built with a strong durable cloth, the 3 pockets built into this ball bag are ideal for a plate brush, indicator, keys, etc.
Darin W. Lincoln, NE |
Looks nice and will hold three baseballs. Brush gets hung up in the inside pocket so I just use the main pocket for all.
Hilton I. Bowling Green, KY |
The ball bags are nice and deep. Good quality product.
Michael W. Paducah, KY |
Solid product. Good look, good material. So far so good.
William D. Aurora, IL |
Flimsier fabric than previous offerings. I will not purchase these again.
Neil C. North Dighton, MA |
Looks sharp, room enough for three pearls. BUT...material at the top ripped, seam unraveled after only a couple games.
Mike S. Edmonton, Canada |
I ordered some navy and some charcoal grey ones. The price is right, but their pockets are too deep. Makes getting the brush or line up card holder hard to get out in a hurry. Another problem with them being so deep is that it makes the back side solid when a brush and line up holder are in them, and makes its tougher for softballs to fit in them. I could not have 2 balls side by side in the bag and definitely no way to fit 3. They may be good for base balls but not big enough for softballs.
Keith P. Monticello, KY |
I ordered 1 of the charcoal grey color, received it very quick, used it in a weekend tournament in Somerset held 5/6 baseball's easy plus my plate brush and clicker in the inside pocket great design liked it so much ordered another one, grey color 3 days later. Great product, best prices around to go along with best customer service on all products. I'm fixing to place another large order with Ump Attire.com. Don't waste your time with the rest, order from the best Ump Attire.com #1.
Kevin S. Gaithersburg, MD |
This is a fine ball bag, but the internal pockets run a little too deep and are not wide enough, so it is always a struggle when I have to take my brush out. The colors are fine. I got one charcoal grey to match my Honig's pants and a heather grey to match my Smitty's, and I can't tell any off coloring. Gerry Davis pants may be a different story.
Willie D. Lakeland, FL |
It's seems like a good ball bag but the Charcoal Gray color is different from my pants so I will not use them, I am going to be giving the bags to a new umpire.
Brett Lehi, UT |
Only umpire ball bag I've ever had and it's great. I can easily put 4 pearls in there and other items.
Richard S. Mansfield, TX |
Great ball bag. Heavy fabric to withstand use.
John M. Tucson, AZ |
John W. Greenbush, MN |
These ball bags work well. It is able to carry everything that I need. I haven't had any issue with stitching coming undone. The charcoal color isn't a perfect match with my pants but it is fairly close. They are able to hold a good number of baseballs, I am usually able to carry four per bag, but have fit up to five. I wouldn't recommend using this bag for softball however. For baseball this is a great product!
Brian M. Pittsburgh, PA |
Great price but I second the comment about the back stitching coming loose. I have my wife run a double stitch along the back before I ever hit the field.
Justin M. Columbus, OH |
These bags are "okay." For $10 you can't really beat the price, but expect to buy new ones every season, if not between spring, summer and fall ball. The stitching WILL come undone. I've been through 8 of these now and every single one of them has had the same problem. I don't want to try out the $20 bags and have the same problem, so I just keep buying these.
Kevin C. Marshalltown, IA |
Great bags for a great price.
Dick P. Grand Junction, CO |
I like the Smitty ball-bag because it allows the balls to be placed freely into the bag, not in pre-set pockets that make it VERY difficult to quickly extract a ball from! They don't wrinkle and look sharp.
Ralph B. Victoria, BC |
The bags look smart and have been put through the wash quite a few times and are holding up fairly well. BUT all 4 bags had to have the stitching reinforced. When you are running with them they start coming apart at the stress points. I would also prefer that one pocket be shallow rather than 2 deep ones. I would still buy them again.
S K. Dublin , IN |
These are made better then past bags I've had and they're a great value for your money. Holds everything you need and seem to be made out of sturdy material. I'm very happy with my purchase!
Dan J. Diamond Springs, CA |
Plenty of room and perfect size. Made with strong material and has pockets in side the bag as well for your plate brush and indicator.
Drew H. Goleta, CA |
The description for these ball bags mentions that they are a "wool blend fabric" The ones that I received were 100% polyester. I will be keeping them as back-up, but be aware that no sheep products have been used in the production of these bags.
Maurice C. Sudbury, 0 |
Great bag. Strong material and deep pockets on the inside.
Jesse Devine South Dakota |
Great ball bag. Heavy duty cloth. Easily holds three baseballs across the width. I have even held 5, although they can fall out when running, so I keep it to four max. The storage pouches run all the way to the bottom so your stuff (plate brush, etc.) can get buried, making it difficult to get them out. So I just ran a stitch halfway up so I only use the top half and they work great.
Luke Zettler |
You sell the umpire ball bags for such a great price and the best quality of any online store.
