Smitty Modern Tapered Fit Flat Front Basketball Referee Pants

These are the best Smitty pants yet!

These new flat-front, slim-leg referee pants finally bring us into modern fashion and take us out of the 1980s. The fabric is very stretchy throughout the legs; however, they are not tight on the legs. The waist does not have much stretch, but they fit true to size. The black is not as shiny as the previous models but is not noticeable. The only negatives about the pants are that they wrinkle very easily and tend to be very staticky if you wear legging underneath, hence the 4-star rating. I have solved the static problem by having a can of static guard handy in my garment bag and by adding just a bit of fabric softener when washing them in cold water casual cycle(low spin).

The slimmest fit of all Smitty basketball referee pants. Not for those with very muscular thighs! Fit is perfect as usual, quality undisputed.

LOVE THESE PANTS!!! Finally, a pair of referee pants that do not look like they are from the 80s. These fit true to size. The only thing is the elastic isn't as forgiving in the waist.

These will be the first Smitty pants I will not have to alter to take away excess fabric in the legs. Finally, a true athletic fit.
