Great chest protector! I had previously worn an older Wilson West Vest that was loaned to me. The Champro AMT is much more low profile but after taking numerous shots from foul balls and the occasional ungloved fastball straight to the shoulder/chest area, I’m just as confident in it as I was the West Vest. Whether it’s 11U travel ball or High school, it absorbs impact well!!

The chest protector is great. You'll take balls off your chest all day and not feel a thing. I will say, though, the straps in the back are a bit too high and so they can irritate the skin on the back of your neck if you're not wearing a mock turtle underneath. Good product, some design flaws.
