I was a little apprehensive when I first got them. They are well-padded and seem like they would be very hot in summer heat. But, I was very comfortable in 90+ heat on an artificial turf field. As comfortable as can be expected in 90 degrees. My feet felt fine working back-to-back games behind the plate.
