I've had these for 3 seasons now and they are very comfortable. I've taken several shots to the toe while wearing these shoes and I have't felt a thing. They are also easy to run in. The only negative I have, and other plate shoes might be the same, is that after taking a ball off the toe and one off the top plate, there are dings in the leather where the leather has a small gouge or tear. Not sure if the New Balance plate shoes do the same, but I think the softer leather and not being patent leather might have something to do with it. But, overall I'm very happy with these shoes.
