Avoid this lanyard if you do not need a microphone adapter. It is big and bulky at the end of the lanyard where you attach your whistle.

I like the push button feature on the lanyard. I will probably never need it for the PTS part so I easily removed the plastic part attached for that function. I agree the metal portion will probably rust due to the sweat but by then it's probably time for a new one anyway.

I have used this lanyard for years but wish they would go to 100% plastic for the clip attachment. It is a comfortable lanyard that looks good, but the metal clip corrodes over time due to sweat. I bought some 1" plastic clips on Amazon and solved the issue but Fox should make this change standard on this lanyard. I do like the fact that if this lanyard catches on a player accidentally it will break away. That is a good feature that you hope you don't need but if you do you won't get strangled by your lanyard.

Replaced another Fox40 with this one. The other would get twisted around a bit and would get uncomfortable. This one is great and looks fantastic! I just can't figure out what the extra clip is on mine. It looks like you use it to run the lanyard into to double over itself.
