These socks fit great so your shin guards do not bite into the back of your lower legs. The socks are thick but breathable even in the summer heat. Great product.

This isust what I have been looking for. I always cut the tops of my old soccer socks to put over my knees to stop the rubbing and sweat build-up from my umpiring shin guards. These are perfect and cover the knees comfortably and wick sweat away. No more rubbing on my knees! I'm 6'5" and these fit great and easily cover my knees. A must-have if you umpire a lot.

Socks are strong and work great with shin guards for plate work. I recommend ordering a size smaller than you think you'll need, as they go up much higher than needed.

Socks work great for my plate games. For my shin guards, they go up over my knees so my guards will not run my thighs and not rub a rash on back of my legs. Glad I got them just for that reason, thanks Ump-Attire.com.

I recommend ordering a size below your actual shoe size. I ordered for a size 12 shoe and the sock came up almost to my thigh.

Sock works great foe plate work and don’t have to wear full tights. If you work a second game or the first game on the bases just roll the sock down over the calf because they will roll down and feels like it will cut into the leg.

If you have a large foot or big calves, this sock is not for you. Could not get the sock over my foot (sz. 13) Stretching the elastic did not help. Sent them back the same day. Very disappointed.

While the material is nice, and worked well (tried it out thinking there was a smaller size, thought I'd give the pair to my son who has a larger foot). While I am a 9-9.5, the heal shouldn't start at my ankle on the back of my leg.

Sock is made of a good material, but the top rolls down after running a bit and somewhat cuts into the leg. I think that partially defeats the purpose of wearing over the knee socks. It does help with the leg guard straps rubbing against the back of the knee but I think that an over the counter compression sleeve from Walgreens or CVS would do the same thing and wouldn't roll down like this sock does. At $20, this is an okay product and one that I would wear but probably would not reorder for next season.

Decent sock. Supportive, comfortable. As others have stated, the top rolls down so it really defeats the main purpose of having material under the top 1 or 2 straps of the leg guards. I've been able to keep the sock above the knee, and I just loosen the top strap of the thigh shield so it doesn't cut into my leg. The socks get the job done but I'm not sure they are worth the extra price over other baseball/sports/compression socks...

Super thick material. Was wanting something for summertime. I am sure these will be great for cold weather.

I LOVE THESE socks. Not sure what the magic is about them, but I love them. They tend to roll down at the top and hurt after 6 hours, but they keep your legs energized. Even with the bulky Platinum shin guards, my legs feel great whether it's a 10 hour day of games or 13 hours, my legs feel cool. It's like the cartoon where the lower body takes off 1st and then the upper torso, that's how they feel. I have medical compression socks and the TCK socks leave them in the dust. I LOVE THESE socks.

Good socks, easier to put on than off, not too hot. Tends to roll at the top leaving the upper portion of the shin guard on the skin and a tight ring around the leg.
