Franklin MLB ColdMax Base Umpire Gloves

I have been putting off getting these Franklin ColdMax gloves, and with the cyber deals, the price was right. I have used so many other gloves on the market, but these, by far, are the warmest. These were my Christmas present to myself. I used them when it was extremely cold during the holiday. I will be ready for the early spring NCAA games. Great product!!

The Franklin MLB ColdMax Gloves are a very good option for the cold, have excellent mobility, and keep my hands warm. I recommend them.

Being an umpire in New England, I need to be warm. These gloves are the best I’ve ever had. My hands were so warm, I was tempted to remove them but that would have been a mistake. I thoroughly endorse these Franklin gloves. Two very warm thumbs up.

These are heavy duty gloves. The fit is accurate for me and I did use the fitting chart. The gloves allow me a reasonable grip. They aren't magic though. I used liners under the gloves and my fingers still got cold in 38 degree sunshine. For $50, you're paying too much for the (very prominent) logo and not getting enough glove.

Heavy duty gloves meant for frigid temps. Hands are still nimble enough to perform basic functions: catching, throwing, etc. Original purchase was a size too big so went a size smaller; this despite going with the size chart.

Comfortable gloves, good for the bases. Played in snow and didn't freeze my hands!

Finally had a cold day at the ballpark and got to wear these. Very warm. Excellent quality.

Great gloves to wear on the bases in cold weather. I have used them for several games early this season and they have performed better than any glove I have had for the bases. Like others have said, I would not recommend them on the plate, but they go a great job of keeping you warm and dry on the bases.

I haven't worn these gloves on the field yet, but I did wear them recently while our temps were -10 degrees. My hands stayed warm and I can't wait to use these on the diamond soon.

These gloves are EXCELLENT and at the price point they are at, great buy. Wear them when I go out on cold days here, keep the fingers warm for everyday use. At time of purchase, Baseball season was just wrapping up here, was able to use them for a couple of games, did the job!!!! As noted, these are not meant when on the Plate. Too bulky, great for Bases.

I really like the feeling of these gloves and they allow me to get the balls out of my ball bag without trouble. They also allow me to manage my clicker.

Warmest gloves I have tried. Very comfortable and great for the bases. I was curious to see how they would perform with an indicator. Fortunately, I don't need one on the bases. If you need to use an indicator, you might find it a little difficult to turn the wheels. Otherwise, a really nice umpire glove.
