Official Reviews
Jim S. Aiken, SC |
I've been using mine during the football season and it works really well. I'm looking forward to using it this spring for my high school baseball season. Highly recommend it.
Henry M. Gray Court, SC |
Excellent purchase that met all my expectations.
Alfredo G. Los Angeles, CA |
Looks a lot better in person than I thought and easy to clean with a damp cloth. Holds a Zebra .7mm pen perfectly well and also the traditional BIC plastic pens. Comes a little stiff at first but once it's broken in the magnets hold super well. As mentioned before you can stick a metal indicator to it as well just don't go running around with it I just hold it there in between innings. Only thing is that it will stretch out your shirt pocket and at times will fly out when you run around the field. What I did was tighten my shirt pocket by sewing it at the ends and that problem has been dealt with for now. Overall great wallet.
Jack F. Yantic, CT |
Great size and quality. Love the magnets. If you have a metal indicator they hold them to it as well. Only thing I wish it had was a pen holder.
Brian J. Anamosa, IA |
Excellent quality, double saddle!
Michael B. DeFuniak Springs, FL |
Love the magnets for holding lineups. Only concern I had is that it bent in my pocket and held that shape. Would love to see a little bit more sturdiness from the holder. 10/10 still would recommend.
Mark D. Camden, DE |
Absolutely the best lineup card holder made! Another great product by Ray at UmpLife and distributed through Ump Attire!
Jayden M. Charlottetown, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND |
It's good over all. It's a nice thing for keeping line ups in order. It fits in pocket quite nicely.
Curtis F. Jean Cote, ALBERTA |
It's professional looking and a great way to keep lineup cards. Just wish there was a clip for a pen and a clip to hold it in the pocket. It's too expensive for what you get, too.
Larry J. Nibley, UT |
It works very well. I though a little pricey.
Doug P. Pinetop, AZ |
Just what I needed! It isn't as sturdy as having two heavy duty clips for the lineups, but the two magnets work really well for what they are - they kept the papers in order for me to be able to write in substitutions and courtesy runners, etc. Like I said - exactly what I needed and a good price!
Norm B. North Canton, OH |
This line up card holder was purchased because a fellow official had one given to him. I said that looks like what I need. He showed me and it had the Ump Attire label on it. I have used it from then on and it's the best one yet.
Richard B. Marion, NC |
I bought two of these to use when behind the plate during College Softball. 3rd Base Team in left ball bag and 1st Base Team in right ball bag. Works like a charm. Great quality as well.
Rita C. Oak Harbor, WA |
I love these. Game days can be damp here and this lineup holder keeps the lineups dry. It's a nice surface to write on. Closed, it holds a thin pen very well. I only bought a new one because I gave mine away last year when I was in Europe. It's too expensive to buy this stuff from the USA.
Tom T. Elmira, NY |
Best line-up card I have ever had.
Joseph M. Holly Springs, NC |
I struggled for a few years with a card holder that had no way to stay closed, retain the cards and conveniently hold a pen. This card does it all and looks great too. It will not unexpectedly flop open and the two magnetic retaining clips securely hold each lineup card separately while holding my pen in the fold crease. The slim profile and covering material make it easy to slip in and out of my shirt pocket. I got the 6” version and highly recommended it.
Kevin B. The Woodlands, TX |
Great product, great price, fast shipment.
Dennis L. Wetter (Ruhr), NRW |
An absolute game changer.
Garret C. Rancho Santa Margarita, CA |
This lineup holder is both sleek and professional-looking. Perfect size and design. The utilization of magnetic snaps is a game changer.
James C. Smyrna, TN |
High-quality construction that will last. I love the magnetic snap to keep things from falling out. It fits well in my pocket. A must-have!
Josh C. Hamilton, AL |
Love the magnetic tabs and how it holds the lineup in place. Highly recommended.
Andrew Niles, OH |
Best lineup holder I've used. Love the magnetic tabs and the black, professional look.
Brian T. Maricopa, AZ |
I love this card holder. It is durable and the magnets do a great job keeping the cards in place. Fits in my shirt and/or ball bag without issues.
Ricky S. San Angelo, TX |
I purchased an umpire magnetic lineup card holder a couple years ago, and now I will never go back! Easily the best line-up card I've ever used!
Peter L. Buckeye, Az |
Best scorecard sheet book on the market. Very useful tool for keeping your cards organized.
Buddy B. Vancleave, MS |
Why did I wait so long to buy one of these? It makes note taking on the field much simpler!
Kyle H. Fort Collins, CO |
It's the only lineup card holder I use!
Jack Jensen Spokane Valley, WA |
I started out with the 5-inch one, but I decided to try the 6-inch wallet, and I haven't used the 5-inch one since. The game cards we use for football are a tiny bit longer than five inches so they stick out of the bottom just a little, just enough to annoy me, and the six-inch wallet is much better.
Jason M. Rapid City, SD |
This works really well and the magnets keep the cards in place for quick review.
Thomas B. San Diego, CA |
Works as designed! I am able to see both sides due to off-set magnets! Sturdy enough to write on and professional-looking when you pull it out! Also fits nicely in the back or front pocket! I like how it holds my pencil inside the crease, and it doesn’t fall out! Highly recommend having one of these!
Jonathan C. Moline, IL |
Great product. I prefer the 6" for baseball and football.
Clarence D. Spokane, WA |
Excellent for securely holding lineup cards and a pen. It fits easily into my umpire shirt pocket.
Broc H. Uhrichsville, OH |
I really like the book. It holds game cards and note papers in place very well and I don't have to worry about them spilling out into my pocket and onto the field. Highly recommended!!!
Keith E. Burnsville, MN |
Magnets hold paper and cards in place. Size is perfect for larger score cards. Pen fits nicely in the crease.
Joffrey W. Tuscaloosa, AL |
I’ve only had the opportunity to use this with travel ball tournaments which it’s perfect when it comes to keeping the card most travel ball organizations use! It gives you something firm to write on, plus it makes it easier to close the card and store it in your pocket when you’re not using it! I Would highly recommend this product and look forward to the next baseball season to use it in actual high school and middle school games!
Randy J. Oak Harbor, WA |
I like this style. It holds things well and is more secure for lineups and notes.
Kelly M. Wahpeton, ND |
The strong magnets make for better control of your lineup cards and the overall placement of the cards, especially on a windy day. Also, the length of this unit helps accommodate longer lineup cards, so the umpire does not have to fold the lineup card over and over to get it to fit. Typically, one-fold works well for me. I highly recommend this product.
Drew P. Woodward, OK |
Very functional and durable. Love how strong the magnets are. Soft spot inside to fit almost any pen. I use one of those 4 color pens and, it’s just a hair to big to fit. Still 5 stars.
Jason L. Cedar Lake, IN |
The Lineup card holder is exactly what I needed. The magnets work flawlessly to hold folded lineups that are oversized. Fits most breast pockets with minimal overhang. Sturdy enough to jot down changes on the fly. The space in the fold is perfect for most sizes of pens. A++++
Ray I. Maryland |
I wanted a lineup card holder that does not have plastic pockets and this fits the bill. The magnets hold the lineups in place and keep the holder closed. There is enough room as well for a pen inside the holder.
Mark L. Pelham, GA |
This is the perfect size to keep the common lineup and oversized cards from today's game. The magnets are very strong. I have called in windy conditions, and not one time has a lineup card come close to flying loose when pinned down between the magnets. It does not absorb sweat as I keep mine in my back pants pocket. It still looks as new as the day I bought it after a full season and lots of use. This item is highly recommended.
Zach K. Los Angeles, CA |
I’ll never use a different design. Magnets are terrific. Wish the holder had stiffer backing for a firmer writing surface. 4.5 stars. I recommend.
Ed A. Princeton, IN |
Good quality and nicely sized.
Pj W. Asheboro, NC |
Best buy ever! Holds your pen and the line-up card nicely. The hard back helps you write on for subs and even mound visits. Money well spent.
Bob W. Clearwater Beach, FL |
Perfect size. I love the offset magnets!
Tedd S. Ft. Myers, FL |
The book is a game changer for me. Well thought-out design. Thanks for the SUPER FAST delivery as well.
Steven A. Oneonta, NY |
Great product hands down!!! A must for the serious umpire!!!
Jeffery C. Monroe, LA |
This item along with every single product I've ordered is exactly what I needed. The service has been great and shipped right on time!! I recommend everyone I talk to needing umpire equipment to order from Ump Attire!! Definitely made year 1 for me easy, so thank you Ump Attire!!!
Joe M. Farwell, MI |
Nice product, fast shipping. This will go nicely with my new gear.
Eric H. Columbus, OH |
I recently purchased this item and I so favor it over what I used the first 15 years of umpiring. It's durable and the magnets hold the score cards in it very nicely. A true must have.
William M. Las Vegas, NV |
Does the job it is intended for.
Clint D. Phil Campbell, AL |
Perfect size umpire lineup card holder for me, well made. Couldn’t ask for anything better!
Paul H. Corpus Christi, TX |
Works great!!!!
Steve S. Ashburn, VA |
Just the size I needed.
Michael N. Salinas, CA |
Best card holder I've ever had.
Paul S. Belmont, MS |
Good sized and strong magnets.
Ed O. Whitman, MA |
I'm a multi-time user and have many of them. Sometimes I "gift away" a new still in the wrapper one to an up and comer umpire.
TN UMP Nashville, TN |
This is a must have. I love the bigger 6” version. It would be nice to standardize size of coaches lineup cards to fit this!
Robert C. |
Just what I was looking for. This will work just fine for me.
Scott M. Torrance, CA |
Changed to this lineup holder to replace 1 that was 9 years old and being held together with tape. Perfect size for my needs. Looking forward to many years with this holder.
Darwin R. OMAHA, NE |
Book is exactly as described. Impressed with strength of magnets. Quality product.
Jose V. Traverse City, MI |
That is what I was missing. The magnetic ends allow the line-up cards to stay in place. It gives you room to see both line-up sheets simultaneously.
Jonathan M. Henryville, IN |
Great product. Love the magnets, they hold everything in place.
Timothy B. Logansport, IN |
This lineup card holder is great.
David S. Shippensburg, PA |
Love this lineup holder. Best one I have ever had. When I showed it to other umpires they all wanted to get one, some even borrowed mine when I was on the bases or had a game off. Best thing is your pen can fit inside and it closes up. Magnets hold lineups in place and make them easy to get to and put back. Great product.
Kenneth B. Austin, IN |
Great book!! The magnets in this umpire lineup card holder make it a lot easier to hang on to lineups through out the game. I don't know how I made it this long without it!!
Scott W. Nolensville, TN |
As coaches line up cards got bigger, I was finding it harder to fold it into my 5" line up card holder so I ordered this 6" one. It definitely fits better and the magnets on opposite sides keeps the seam from eventually tearing plus it is flatter. Kinda pricey but I really like it.
Edward O. Sharpsville, IN |
Lineup card holder seems to be very good quality. Magnets are strong and keep your paperwork secure and keeps the book held closed. Would like to see it just a bit wider because most lineup cards are wider and you have to fold the edge, but I understand they are keeping size down to fit in your inside ball bag pocket or shirt pocket. But the size is not a deal breaker, I am not disappointed in buying it.
Guadalupe G. San Juan, TX |
Great and very nice!!!!!
Darren R. Moberly, MO |
Very convenient and handy for game management.
Cesar Q. Austria |
I found it interesting how the magnets works. They really keep the lineup in place.
Derek S. Morgantown, WV |
Perfect size for college lineup cards. Super strong magnets hold everything in place!
Jeffrey S. Niskayuna, NY |
Everything is at my finger tips!! Simply the best umpire lineup card holder.
James C. Pennville, IN |
Perfect size to fit in ball bag.
Dustin C. Athens, GA |
Greatest lineup card holder on the market!
Gus L. Leander, TX |
Love this lineup card holder. Easy to place under the magnetic holder. Slips right into the pocket of either shirt or ball bag. Slim design. Hard back for writing and sturdy. Awesome product.
Robert N. Denville, NJ |
Great construction. Would definitely recommend the larger size.
Scott D. Wilson, NC |
Greatest lineup wallet ever made!! Magnets hold the lineup cards perfectly in place. Don’t have to fight with plastic sleeves, as in other holders, to put the lineup cards in place. The positioning of the magnets are placed so that when the wallet is closed, it’s flat, plus the magnets hold the wallet shut. You won’t go wrong with this one!! 5 ✒s!!
Chad M. Papillion, NE |
This is exactly what every umpire needs in their bag. The magnets work amazing to keep the lineup cards in position and still allows you full access to make changes, without pulling them out of a holder.
Dan C. Georgia |
Great product. Offset magnets are great.
Robert W. Florida |
Nice wallet. Use it daily during the seasons. Helps keep me organized.
Tim L. Plainfield, IL |
Sturdy book with a good design.
Larry K. Encino, CA |
I just bought a new one to replace for the first one I bought which lasted me many years, but was starting to look shabby after several hundred games. This one has offset magnets which is an improvement over the original model.
Kyle H. Fairfield, IA |
The Pro Grade Magnetic Book has been one of the best purchases that I made for the season. I used it to hold the lineup cards and game card(s). Without it, the cards would have gotten wet, and/or destroyed. The Pro Grade Book made it easy to write on, and the magnetic clips makes it easy to lock in your lineups and game card. I would recommend this product to any umpire, not just for softball/baseball, but you can use it for many other sports as well.
Julio T. Carson, CA |
Finally got it! My old ones keep on tearing up. This one looks solid. I carry two ball bags. I use two line up card holders. One for each side. I'll probably go to just this one since it holds both.
Chris R. Ashville, OH |
Sleek and convenient. Holds what I need and takes no space to put away.
James G. Gibbsboro, NJ |
When umpiring behind the plate for softball or baseball games, there is nothing that can be more annoying or irritating then having to delay the game longer than necessary when a coach is giving you lineup changes. The Pro Grade Magnetic "Book Style 6" Umpire Lineup Card Holder will alleviate and prevent you from ever delaying the game again. Whether you go with the 5" or 6" style all depends on each umpire's preference, but you can't go wrong with either. The magnets keep both lineups in place throughout the entire game and allow for easy access. The card holder allows room for a pen or pencil without having to worry about it falling out. You will no longer be searching for lineups or pens in your ball bags or pockets anymore. Everything you need is now neatly compact in one place and those long delays when coaches give you those lineup changes are in the past. Ray Brownlie definitely hit a homerun with this product design, Thank You from myself and the entire umpire community.
Dan H. Los Angeles, CA |
I love this magnetic folder. Holds my line up cards and only opens when I want to.
Harold S. Strafford, NH |
I love this umpire lineup card holder and highly recommend it.
Kenneth E. Stony Mtn., MB, Canada |
I agree one inch longer would be easier to grasp. Mine, after a few seasons has a separation on the top back cover. Otherwise, I love it.
Rob K. Mathias, WV |
I would recommend this for all umpires as an improvement to the standard lineup card holder. I would say that if it were an inch longer, it would be perfect. That’s why it gets four stars.
Patrick K. Bluefield, WV |
A very good product. Hold lineups very well and the bigger size gives you more writing room. I really like this product and highly recommend it for every umpire.
Alan H. Burke, VA |
This is a must for all umpires. Very useful, simple design.
Timothy F. Lake Elmo, MN |
Great product. Magnets are strong and hold lineup cards, trip card, etc. in place very well. It's also nice that it closes so well with a pen in the fold.
Scott C. Lisbon, ND |
Magnets hold lineup cards very well.
Greg M. Fort Wayne, IN |
Love it. Looks good and the magnetic holds the lineups very well.
Roy R. Heidelberg, MS |
Exactly what’s needed during every game. Keeps lineups in place and it’s sturdy and easy to write on. Highly recommended!
Ken D. Manchester, NH |
Great product. Convenient place to put and secure all media equipment.
Robert H. Rocklin, CA |
Fantastic book. Sturdy, easy to use as a base for writing on, and the magnets are strong enough to not only hold the lineups in place but also hold the book closed. Highly recommend.
Howard S. Cheshire, CT |
Great size. Magnets strong. Perfect lineup card holder.
Michael G. Morgantown, IN |
Great product! Holds college softball line-ups with small fold at bottom of sheet. Top magnet holds bottom line-up, bottom magnet holds both line-ups so you don't have to unfold to record changes from the coach. Just fold top line-up over to see bottom line-up! Fits perfect in my ball bag inside pocket, and easy to pull out when needed! Every umpire needs one of these in their menagerie!!! No fumbling around anymore on recording changes!!!! Play Ball!
Steve T. Kentucky |
Does exactly what I need it to do.
Michael H. West Lafayette, IN |
The book is a TREMENDOUS asset for all umpires and it can be used also for football as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this for everyone that works both baseball and football.
Bryant S. Cedar Park, TX |
Made the switch from the 5" to the 6" umpire line-up card holder this year. It sticks up out of the pocket, but I was sick of triple folding line ups to fit in my old one. This product is top notch.
Gary B. Livingston, MT |
Been looking for a good quality book to hold lineup cards and this fits the bill.
Johnny S. Boynton Bch, FL |
It works great.
James W. Yuma, AZ |
Never realized how handy this is, until AFTER I bought it!
Patrick M. Düsseldorf, NORTHRHINE WESTPHALIA |
Really good product! Some good quality magnets and a sturdy surface to write on. Definitely a must!
Jeff K. Minonk, IL |
It's so nice going to the plate meeting, receiving the lineups from the coaches and snapping them into your professional magnet lineup holder. Very nice unit to help you stay organized.
Pete S. Calera, AL |
Not a bad product. The only design I wish it had was a pocket of some sorts either on the outside or inside of one of the flaps. I have a smaller binder from something other than umpire design that I have and I use the pocket in it to hold a few band-aids & my mound visitation card.
Bill M. Mount Sidney, VA |
Well designed and easy to use. I like the offset magnets that allow the book to fully close. My only issue is with the price; seems a little high.
Evan P. Discovery Bay, CA |
Nice book but not worth the $20 price tag. The materials are just decent and the book itself feels a lot "cheaper" than what it looks like in the photos. Very disappointed with the quality of this item for $20. Should be $10.
Patrick C. Las Vegas, NV |
This is one of those must-have items. It makes everything better!
Matthew B. Tyler, TX |
This umpire cardholder is the best I've ordered. I love how the magnets keep the lineup cards tight and easy to write on. Easy to make notes during a game. I will be using this come football season as well.
Timothy J S. Mayfield Hts, OH |
Easily the best game wallet on the market. Premium cost for a premium product.
Kris J. Artesia, NM |
I like the larger size, and I have no problems with it falling out of my pocket. I do wish it had a pencil holder. Overall, good product.
Kevin C. California |
Nice umpire lineup card book, sturdy construction. Magnets hold tight and keep lineups where they should be. It would be nice if a loop to hold a writing tool was available.
Chad S. North Augusta, SC |
Works great.
Anthony B. West Yarmouth , MA |
So much better than the older lineup holders and the magnet holders are great.
Chris Phoenix |
Not of high quality. Better than the cheap vinyl umpire lineup card holders, but I was let down by the quality.
Frank H. Pikeville, KY |
Great product.
Donald C. Rich Square, NC |
Fits nicely in my back pocket, and inside my ball bag. Easy to view both lineups.
Craig S. |
Really had to get used to placing the pen in the binder, not used to that, but being able to have both lineups visible without flipping from one to another is fantastic. Definitely the best card holder I've ever used.
Brian M. Wichita, KS |
This lineup card-holder works great for both football and softball.
Anthony S. Ohio |
Perfect for baseball and football. My nephew has the smaller version and it fits fine. I use mine for football and put home team on the left and visitors on the right. Referees no longer have to flip a card. The pencil or pen fitting in the middle is also a big plus.
Brian P. Lorton, VA |
I messed around with several other items from other vendors before settling on this. Should have just purchased it two years ago. It fits perfectly in the ball bag interior storage pocket and is an ideal writing surface. The magnets work just as advertised. I'm also able to keep a full sized pen inside the holder.
Jason H. Oklahoma |
Much better than the previous umpire lineup card holder I owned. Plenty of room for both sheets and big enough to write on.
Josh M. Chifley, ACT |
Fantastic! Perfect size for any line up card. Strong magnets and line up cards do not fall out. Love it!
Tim M. Ball, LA |
FANTASTIC umpire lineup card holder.
Roderick W. Indianapolis, IN |
Love this umpire lineup wallet. I use the smaller version for football. Keeps everything together.
Katie M. Youngsville LA |
Great product! Fits perfectly in my back pocket. Magnets hold the lineup card in place without any issues.
Mark W. Winnipeg, MB |
A must have. Keeps you organized and looks sharp. Fits just snug in the Smitty shirt pockets.
Kenny H. Greensboro, GA |
Have only used it a couple times but love the magnetic hold of the line up cards. Pen fits and stays nicely in the interior groove. I like that it sticks out of my shirt to give the impression I have my business in order.
Albert H. Colorado Springs, CO |
Best out there. Would be better if it had a small pocket on the inside to hold cards.
Jason F. Rocklin, CA |
The book style is nice and the magnetic line-up make it easy to use. The big failure is it's durability. I didn't even get through an entire season and all the black covering came off the edges. It still works fine, though umpires takes pride their appearance and equipment, and shotty line-up holder just looks bad when you making a first impression at the plate meeting.
Paul S. Kahului, HI |
Holds lineups nicely. Thought I didn't need one but found out that I should have gotten it sooner!
Jessie L. Carson City, NV |
Does exactly what its supposed to do, If I have my way, I would have made it a tad longer, but that's my only gripe.
Ralph H. Indiana |
Absolutely love this wallet. I have let a couple of my fellow umpires use mine and they are sold on it, too. I am going to order the 5" model for football and order more of the 6" model for my fellow umpires that requested one.
Steve D. Ardmore, PA |
Love this line-up card holder, does everything I need it to do.
John P. Sanford, NC |
Great product. The magnetic holder keeps the line up sheets firmly in place and is the perfect size.
Philip P. Round Rock Tx |
This is the best lineup card holder I have used. The length and the magnetic clips make recording changes much easier, than the smaller one I use to use. I would recommend this to any level of umpiring.
Colby H. Jacksonville, IL |
LOVE this lineup book! Sturdy, professional look. Another great product from Ray that you can pick up at Ump-Attire.com!
Michael G. Maine |
Fits in ball bag perfectly. Holds lineup cards securely even on windy days.
Michael A. Greenwood, IN |
This product is GREAT! Fits perfectly in front shirt pocket or in rear pants pocket. The magnets keep everything tight and the pen from popping out. I'm a fan and will definitely be ordering a few more for the future.
Rich B Charleston, SC |
Excellent product! I had been looking for a quality lineup holder that would be durable and easily fit into my bag. It has proved to be both. Went with the longer version and it is can be located for easy access in a snap. Highly recommend it!
Kim L. Tulare , CA |
I like it a lot too! Fits tight in pocket on jersey. I read earlier someone keeps it in their back pocket during plate? What! Good quality I'm glad I got it. Makes me look smarter than I am!
Zachary L. Cedar Creek, NE |
Plenty of room to write and hold multiple cards and game notes.
Kimberly C M Magnolia, TX |
I was given this Line Up Card Wallet a couple years ago by a very dear friend of mine that umpired. I just thought this was the STANDARD/NORM for all Line Up Card Wallets... well to my surprise it was not at all! My truck was broken into and my CHERISHED UMPIRE EQUIPMENT was taken and as I slowly replaced each item I found out the hard way that this wallet was definitely above all others! Not only did I lose a very cherished item but a very top quality item that I have replaced now with two back ups! Great product and it makes your subs and visit tracking very easy to keep up with! LOVE FROM TEXAS!
Kyle K. Watertown, WI |
Just purchased. Like the fit in the back pocket for Plate and Bases due to the new NCAA visits rule and our needing to keep track.
Thomas L. Huntsville, Al |
This is one the best books on the market! It holds a full size pen and my lineup cards in place, very sturdy writing surface. Highly recommended and will be ordering a couple more to have for back ups.
Justin A. Newark, OH |
Loved the smaller one so much that I decided I needed the larger one as well. Can't go wrong with either one, durable and functional.
Lee M. Syracuse, NY |
A little longer than expected. The picture with it in pocket made me believe it would work well in football officiating shirt; however, it is too tall. Functionality is great though.
Michael L. Malden , MA |
Magnets hold football card open so I don't need to worry about front and back...overhangs on the pocket further than I expected but will be great for larger line up cards in baseball.
Luis A. POMPANO BEACH, FL |
Great product! It is a jewel, great quality!!
Dan M. Kennesaw, GA |
Very nice features. I would like it wider so it would hold lineups sideways so i only have to unfold 1 time when making changes.
Ed N. Warren, NJ |
This lineup holder is Great! Compact, fits in pocket easily, magnets hold nicely. Highly recommend this to all baseball [and softball] umpires!
Michael T. Oro Valley, AZ |
Purchased the 6" lineup holder early last summer. What a jewel. Best upgrade was to the magnet flaps. By offsetting them it stores in your pocket beautifully. I would highly recommend it to every umpire. If you're gonna buy, get the best. And this is the best.
Brian B. Bismarck, ND |
Great lineup card holder. I prefer the 5" that fits all the way in to most pockets on shirts but if you don't mind it sticking out a bit or you store it in your ball bags this is a great option.
Rob De Soto, MO |
Love this notepad. Fits in front shirt pocket easily and protects those flimsy lineups that some coaches use. Good product.
Bob S. Spring Valley, CA |
Awesome tool. Saves time at the plate with changes and looks professional when you are told the changes and you in turn make them rapidly. Get one now!!!!!!
Doug B. Kalispell, MT |
Well designed and well made. One of the best lineup card holders I've seen or used. Helps keep lineup organized and easy to use.
Mark E. Locust Grove, GA |
Well designed and well made. One of the best lineup card holders I've seen or used.
Tim E. , Greenville, SC |
Works great fits in my back pocket, and I can't even tell it's there. It is tall enough that you do not have to dig for it and slides back in very easily. Great product.
Lee W. Crestwood, KY |
Lost one, must have fallen out of my shirt pocket while changing, used my old one, but I had to get another one. It sure helps keep line-ups separated, visitor on the left, home on the right and makes line up changes much faster.
Myk O. NEWVILLE, AL |
It works very well. I even did a couple games in the rain with it and it's kept both lineups completely dry.
Scott S. , Texas |
Good size and good quality.
Shane R. Sweetwater, TN |
Great product. Built solid for a writing foundation. Magnets are strong and the size is perfect for lineups.
Michael W. Michigan |
Like this product for use in games. Good size.
Scott B. Fort Wayne, IN |
Great product. New to umping but from what I would see during my coaching days, with umpires messing with lesser pads, this is a big improvement. Cost is not worth a full star but I deduct 1/2 for it.
Paul S. VADNAIS HEIGHTS, MN |
Great product. Fits in the shirt pocket perfectly and holds the line-up cards firmly.
Thad B. Jackson, MS |
This lineup card holder has worked great for me so far. The magnets firmly hold lineups in place. The holder is black (neutral), which I like, because I can use it whenever. It's not too bulky, slides right inside the pocket of my ball bag. Durability appears to be good. I have no complaints with this product. I would recommend this product to fellow umpires.
Duane J. Elizabeth , NJ |
Was pleasantly surprised with the line up holder just hope it's more durable than some of the older line up holders. But so far so good.
Ian H. Arkansas |
I like this notebook. The magnets work great for securing line-ups and notes. It's also not too bulky or heavy. Looking forward to seeing the durability over the course of the summer.
Christopher M. Columbus, OH |
This is the second time I've purchased this card holder. The first one was misplaced or stolen. I love the material and the magnets. Its sturdy but light, very easy to hold small card and the magnets are strong enough to hold the bigger cards after I fold them.
William M R. Fort Atkinson, WI |
Great product. Best holder for lineups I've used in 42 years of umpiring.
David M. West Kingston, RI |
I like the new design. It lies flatter in my pocket. Great product.
Jeff & Susan T. Albany, OR |
The size is great. Fits well in ball bag and gives room to write on solid surface.
Jonathan A. Jackson, MI |
Very nice design. I like these new items that have the magnets offset.
Bryan H. Blountville, TN |
Well designed and good quality. It keeps the lineup cards in place and makes them easily accessible. I am very pleased with the product.
Jeremy B. Youngsville, NC |
Much easier way to store line-ups. The extra room in the binding secures a pen between the magnets. Love this product!
Daniel A. Saint Paul, MN |
This is the answer, for lineup card holders. Every other product I've used has failed, either the plastic pockets deteriorate, or the surface isn't worth using to write on, etc. This thing could take a grenade attack and keep working perfectly. Well done!
Rodney C. Niota, TN |
So far this is an amazing lineup holder. The offset magnets are strong and hold the lineup cards well. It holds my pen in the middle without feeling bulky and fits perfectly in my pocket.
Edward Z. East Englewood, FL |
Great product. The magnetic flaps help to keep lineup cards in place and easy access. Much better than the old style, and recommended.
Jerome J. McBain , MI |
Great product.
Glenn D. PA |
Great product. Much improved with the offset magnets. VERY first generation had flaps on the inside along the bottom. Wish they would put them back. Useful to hold suspended game or legion card independent of the magnets.
David L. McKinney, TX |
Love the new design. Fits much better into my pocket. Keeps my lineup cards neat and readily available.
Ralph H. Moline, IL |
Love the minor changes to the design. Was and probably still is the best design out there. Very handy to use.
Jerry B. Taylor,tx. |
Love this product going into my 2nd season with this item.
Nicole F. Australia |
Love this lineup card holder. Keeps cards secure, fits in my ball bag. Highly recommend.
Ronald R. Homewood, AL |
Very good quality. I use mine for umpiring Girls fast pitch softball.
Bruce G. Elko, NV |
Really like this game card holder. The plastic ones last about one cold game, and they rip. This seems to be holding up well.
Evan B. Austin, TX |
Fits so much more comfortably than the old book, plus has a true writing surface!
Matthew M. Newmanstown, PA |
Love this umpire lineup card holder! Best I've ever had!
Derrick P. Sikeston, MO |
I ordered 2 of these. One for baseball/softball and one for football. They are built well and feel good in the front pocket of my shirt. I give 4.5 stars because the width made it nearly impossible to have my pencil in my pocket along with this. Other than that, it's a great product. I look forward to many years of use.
Daniel U. Fate, TX |
This is a great umpire product and definitely an improvement from the older model. It allows for easy access to the lineups and will hold your pen while it's in your ball bag!
Kyle D. Olympia, WA |
I've always been a simple spiral pocket notebook guy, and put my lineup cards in there. I'm really happy with this product. Good writing surface, magnets decently strong. Might be nice to have a little diagonal pocket on the bottom edge, but not a deal breaker. I treated myself for this one. Four stars only because $20.00 is not really value in my opinion, but I'm okay with it.
Tim T. Parrish, FL |
I would like this better if it had the pockets. I use the pockets to hold state association required cards, and this holder does not provide that capability. Add the inside and outside pockets of the other holders and this will be perfect.
Steve M. Blue Springs, MO |
So much better than previous lineup card holders. Easy to put large lineups under magnets.
Paul S. Paw Paw, IL |
Nice holder. Probably not intended for the shirt pocket. Perfect for the ballbag. The magnets allow you to get rid of the paper clips. I would suggest a half inch wider and an inch taller but, still a good product.
Brian C. Littleton, CO |
Just received this, and now wondering why I waited so long to buy. The knock about it sticking out of the shirt pocket.... it's at best 1", so what? That little bit makes it easier to remove from the pocket. This is a fantastic invention and will make recording changes go much smoother.
Loye W. Hornbeck, LA |
I used this at a tournament this past weekend. I had zero issues using the magnetic clips to hold the lineups. Keeps everything looking professional. Fits in my bag with easy retrieval.
David S. MN |
This card holder is nice but a little large for my shirt pocket.
Lou W. Buffalo Grove, IL |
Thanks for all you do. My way of giving back. I'm a stickler for details. I've always been looking to improve my speed and organization during game line up changes. To the point where I have forms I use for courtesy runners and conferences. This line up holder is PERFECT. I fold the line ups so it fits. Don't worry about the subs or heading. Make sure you have names, numbers, and positions showing for starting line ups. I use a paper clip to only hold the folds. (not to the organizer) With my system set as it is now, I smile to myself when I make changes and know how efficient and confident I feel. You think the head coaches who rate you do not notice this? Especially when you tell them a particular starter or sub is burnt now.
Steve S. Olive, MS |
This is the BEST card holder! The magnets keep the lineup cards in place and I don't have to worry about getting them wet when I sweat.
George F. Pawcatuck, CT |
Love the magnet holder. You can put line-ups on either side and don't have to fuss with them when making changes. I agree that a pocket or two would be very helpful and maybe a pen holder on the inside.
Daniel D. Southaven, MS |
Great little score card holder. It holds the card in place very nicely with the magnetic flip style holders. Does not fit well in my shirt pocket. (Smitty shirt) It does fit well in my jacket pocket. (Majestic Therma Base jacket) I did also notice some chaffing along the bottom edge of the material from taking it in and out of my pocket more so when I was sweating. All in all it is one of the best card holders I've ever used.
Ronald B. Concrete, WA |
Great product. Securely holds your lineup cards.
Joe M. Oskaloosa, IA |
Works well and the magnetic holder works great! Won't buy anything else.
Larry C. Folsom, CA |
Bought two for my son and me. The magnetic keepers work great. Plate meetings look professional and I never have to search for line up cards.
William L. Colorado Springs, CO |
The magnets are a great touch. They keep the lineup cards in place and easy to write on. Much easier to handle the cards then if folded in a pocket. With that said, it's too long to go in a shirt/pant pocket. I have to keep it inside a ball bag pocket. Would agree with another reviewer about another little pocket inside. Also would add a loop to keep a pen/pencil attached. Right now, I keep my pen in the crease and it stays put for the most part. Addition of a paper pad inside would be nice as well.
Mike C. Elizabeth City, NC |
Best line up card holder ever!!!
Brent R. North Little Rock, AR |
Overall construction of the holder is FANTASTIC. It's sturdy and the magnets are perfect on those windy days. The only downside is that it doesn't quite fit in my ball bag like the older model I had, but I moved it to my shirt pocket and am good to go. I do wish there was a way to keep the pen/pencil in place without clipping it to the top so that it hangs out. Great Product overall!!
Gary C. Des Moines, WA |
It's too long in length to put in shirt pocket. Too soft to write on. I like the magnetic feature but shorten the length and get rid of the padding.
Kevin E. Mont Belvieu, TX |
I love the magnets that hold the line-ups in place. Wish there was a place for a pen or pencil. Too big for the pocket in my umpire ball bag. If I had it to do over again, I would not purchase it due to the size of the product.
Ken C. Hixson, TN |
I love the size and the overall construction of this lineup card holder. Magnets are a great idea! The only addition I would make would be to add a pouch inside that goes behind the lineup cards.
Geoff M. Houston, TN |
So it's pretty tough to give this a middling review since it's pretty solid functionality wise. However, this thing is absolutely massive. It's 1.5x longer than a standard game card holder which doesn't seem like a lot until you put it in your back pocket. It's great for baseball/softball when you can put it in a ball bag but no go for any other official.
George P. Santa Ana, CA |
I love this line up holder! The magnets on each side are strong enough to hold even over sized line up sheets that are folded over 2-3 times. The magnets also hold it closed while in my ball bag, and there is room in the center of it to hold even a fat pen or pencil along the seam. It fits in my back pocket fine if I'm using it on the bases too.
Tom C. Elgin, IL |
I use the holder for football. I wish you had a smaller length that could fit into a shirt pocket.
Shawn R. Kingston, TN |
This is a very nice holder. It also functions very well. The clips are very good for holding lineup cards, and my Zebra pen fits nicely in the fold when closed. Materials feel premium.
Eric O. Draper, UT |
Fits perfectly into the pocket of my dry-lo ball bag. Easy to use and good quality.
Jose B. Fresno, CA |
Not sure this will work for me. I am used to having full size line up cards in my holder.
Michael |
I got this for LL tournament where there are a ton of changes and re-entries. I loved the size and magnetic clips as it made getting to what I needed fast and efficient.
Jeremy R Cambridge, 0N |
This lineup card holder is FANTASTIC!!! Magnets hold the lineup cards secure; pen clips easily inside or outside of holder; fits easily in ball bag pocket or shirt pocket; materials are durable and long-lasting. Do yourself a favor and grab one of these TODAY!
James S. San Diego, CA |
I finally got to give my new lineup card holder a thorough workout this past weekend at a tournament. I LOVE IT!! IT's worth every cent! The magnetic clips work perfectly. I used one side for the two lineup cards and the other for my own game card (my own design). I put my full size G2 pen easily into the center fold. The plastic pen clip slid easily over the holder material. Several times, I simply placed the pen into the fold without clipping it. As long as I was careful in opening the holder, the pen fit perfectly in the fold and the holder closed completely with the two magentic clips keeping the folder closed and my pen inside. The holder is tall enough to fit nicely into the ball bag. The material is durable and should last a long time.
Scott W. Racine, WI |
I have used many different lineup holders over the years and had resolved myself to a flimsy plastic ASA holder with a binder clip. After buying this one, however, I think I found the one I will use for quite some time. It is durable and the magnetic clips work very well for any size card. It is also a great size to fit in a ball bag. I generally put my lineup cards length-wise with the bottom folded up to keep score on. I don't have to flip the holder sideways or support it with my leg anymore to make substitutions. I highly recommend this product for anyone.
Anthony M. Fair Lawn , NJ |
This holder looks sharp. Makes you look professional when calling balls and strikes for your game. It is a little big to the point where it will stretch the pocket on your umpire shirt. I think it just looks neater to grab the lineup card from the pocket.
Larry C. Calabasas, CA |
Well, I acquired the fabulous new lineup card wallet from Ump-Attire.com. I could not be more impressed with such an accessory. It is highly functional and premium quality. I am just thrilled with it. It was designed by umpire Ray Brownlie, who introduced us to it on the Umpire-Empire.com Umpire Equipment forum. I am sorry that I waited so long to grab one. I already had what I thought was an effective system, but this new accessory is the finest of its kind. It's actually one of a kind. If $19.99 seems steep, wait until you have it in your hands. It's a value. (I do prefer the no-logo model that Ump-Attire.com offers.)
Adam S. Spring Valley, CA |
Definitely a must have!
Mark M. Franklin, VA |
Finally something that will fit in your pants pocket and separate the two lineup cards! Great job!
Chad O. Bradley, IL |
Great holder! Good length and the magnets are super strong. I can't imagine myself ever using a different one now!
Richard D. Santa Maria, CA |
I like the leather look and feel. It's compact size and the magnetic holder to keep the lineups in place is awesome. I had also bought the flip lineup holder, but I prefer the notebook style the best.
Donna P. Grass Valley, CA |
This is, by far, the best lineup holder yet. Longer length makes writing on lineups much easier, the magnets work better than clips, it holds a full-size pen in place nicely without having to use clips, and the over-all construction is going to last a lot longer that the plastic types I have used in the past. Adding a sleeve/slot inside would be my only suggestion.
Peter T. New Fairfield, CT |
The best folder I have had so far. A longer platform to write on.
Earl S. Eaton, OH |
Great purchase. It is very nice. It fits in your back pocket very comfortable and easy to get to when needed. Nice item - better than any I have ever had.
Alex S. Irvine, CA |
The Holder is great! It works really well and fits nicely into my pocket. 5 Stars! As a suggestion, an inside pocket to put an extra card or checklist would be great or maybe a plastic sleeve.
David K. Mililani, HI |
This item is the best yet. It looks sleek and the clips. I don't need to have those metal paper clips any more. I have spent a lot on holders but this is really the best.
Ron P. Colorado Springs, CO |
I like the larger size and the magnetic holding the card.. only downside.. it grabs the metal indicator in my bag and drags it out too... (magnets...)... I may have to use a plastic one going forward... but it's better than all the clips I used to use...
Bob B. Charlotte , NC |
Love the holder. I just fold the longer cards and record all of my game info with no problems. It's also going to be great for football as well.
John M. MIAMI, FL |
This is a great book to not only hold line-ups, but score cards and trip sheets. Very sturdy and fits pockets.
Jeffrey C. Valley Stream, NY |
The magnetic lineup card holder works for me as I wear 2 ball bags. Baseballs go in one and the lineup card holder goes in the other. Car keys are also in the left side bag. I am a "righty."
Ken M. Moorhead, MN |
I just purchased this product and I like it better than any lineup holder I have had. The magnets hold the lineup cards in place. Some lineup cards I receive are longer and a little wider making it harder to fit into your shirt pocket unless you fold the cards up. It seems well constructed to last longer than a season or two.
Brett W. Madras, OR |
Best purchase of the season so far. No more clips and rubber bands etc. So easy to access the holder and deal with timeouts and substitutions. Looks so professional being able to handle the lineup cards quickly and easily. Fits into my ball bags nicely, is a little big for the shirt pocket, but that's no big deal to me. Absolutely recommend to anyone. Only wish it had a pen holder, but I can deal with that, for everything else it brings to the table.
Dave A. Redding, CA |
To be honest its a nice holder, but it's not long enough to hold the long lineup sheets that every coach has. My ASA lineup holder is wider and just as long as this one.
Vito G. Yonkers, NY |
Great magnet. Good card holder. It could of use a pen holder. My pen keeps falling out every time I take it out of my pocket.
Paul M. Stoughton, MA |
I've used many lineup holders and this one is the BEST. The magnet clips are perfect for holding paper. Perfect fit for pocket or ball bag.
Jeff W. Goshen, IN |
Love it! Magnets hold securely when you want them to but also open easily when you want them to. Beautifully engineered product. Nice writing surface for lineup changes. You won't regret giving this a try.
William P. Spring Lake, MI |
The holder is too big to fit in a shirt pocket. It would be much more functional if it was not so long and bulky.
Brian R. Bradenton, FL |
Have had the cheaper ones before. Thus far through a few weeks this leather"esque" one holds up well and the magnets are a nice touch, and it looks more professional, worth the 20 bucks.
Eddie C. Union, WV |
Nothing else compares, it's worth every penny.
Tiffany R. Omaha, NE |
This is the best umpire lineup holder I've seen. It looks incredibly professional on the field and the quality is incredible. You definitely won't regret adding this to your field attire.
Timothy N. Richland, WA |
Best lineup holder I've ever used. It's terrific! It is a little bit thicker than the other cheapo holders but it holds my Sharpie Pen nice and snug in the "spine." It's been worth every penny and I absolutely recommend it. I've used the cheapy plastic holders but they end up breaking before the end of the season. This is sturdy!!
Stephen O. Tyler, TX |
This is by far the best information wallet I have used on the baseball field. I have tried many. The plastic ones always break, pencils fall out of the pockets, the ones that have the clip on them don't hold up, but this one is great. I had the original which was a little shorter and loved it, but the new longer length is great for High School and College teams that use larger lineups. The magnets that hold the lineups in place are the best feature. You cannot go wrong with this product.
James M. Barton , MD |
This is a great product for anyone on the fence! I have purchased two items from Ray Brownlie and the quality is second to none. Actually ordered a third and he refused to ship because of subpar quality from his printer. There's a lot to be said for integrity in this business and Rays is way up there! Sounds like a great pairing with Ump-attire.com.
Parker S. Tucson, AZ |
Didn't buy it via Ump-attire.com but thru Ray. He's a great guy and his products are worth it. I highly encourage you to buy this product because it's made by and umpire for an umpire. Design is true to its description and the magnets are the best yet.
Steven J. Ontario Canada |
This is a great umpire line-up holder, and would definitely recommend to ANY umpire. This will definitely make your life easier!
Bill S. AZ |
It works well. Room for my pen. Magnets are secure. Narrow holder.
Rolando A. Jacksonville, FL |
I have used many lineup holders over my years as an umpire but this lineup card holder is the best one EVER!!!! I highly recommend this for all officials out there. This is a unique product and it is the best!!!
